April 6th Speaker: Bill Hochberg Topic:Some Things to Know About Working from Home
William D. Hochberg, the managing partner at Hochberg & Hamar, leads a group of dedicated
attorneys and staff in beautiful downtown Edmonds, Washington. Mr. Hochberg limits his practice to Washington State and Longshore workers' compensation, personal injury, and Social Security disability cases. Mr. Hochberg has a particular interest in asbestos and other lung disease claims. Mr. Hochberg has successfully argued six cases before the Washington State Supreme Court (Landon, MacMillan, Kilpatrick, Fankhauser, Sebastian, and Harry) and, in addition, represented the Washington State Labor Council in three seminal workers' compensation cases (Cockle, Avundes, and McGraw). Prior to private practice, he was an Assistant Attorney General for the Labor and Industries and Social Health Service Divisions. He received his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Puget Sound, and his J.D. degree from the University of Washington. Mr. Hochberg is the former Chair of the Justice for All Political Action Committee, a past Vice President of the Legislative Steering Committee, and a past Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Washington State Association for Justice.
